| Tano draws on his background as a performer, director, manager and artist to create spectacular and memorable performances. |
| His career has taken him from his early days with Scottish Opera where he happily combined his role as a singer with that of Chorus Manager – performing in and managing many extensive UK and European tours, followed by the post of Manager of the 200 strong Scottish National Orchestra Chorus where his work included management of a coast to coast tour of America with performances at The Cleveland Festival, Chicago Festival and a concert series at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. |
| During his time in Scotland he was commissioned by the Scottish Arts Council to create two major touring exhibitions of his own artwork. ‘Romantic Shakespeare’ and ‘Shakespeare’s Heroes’. |
| Moving to London, a number of roles in musicals, on stage and in television followed including seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company (Poppy and Kiss Me Kate), The Victoria Wood Show, The Bill, a number of the Brent Walker Gilbert & Sullivan videos, numerous commercials and a season running round muddy fields in The Benny Hill Show. |
| In the mid 1980’s he formed the highly successful talent agency ‘Portfolio Management’ and became Artistic Director of ‘Stars Of The British Theatre’ a company which presented performances throughout the world by some of the finest British acting and musical talent. He set up his current company in 1994. |
| Since then Tano has designed, produced and presented many major shows for private and corporate events. He has worked in most of the leading U.K. venues including; The Royal Albert Hall, The Barbican Centre, The Royal Festival Hall, Alexandra Palace, Telford International Centre, Excel, The NEC in Birmingham and the SECC in Glasgow and in many major venues throughout Europe. |
| Recent shows have included ‘Spirit Of Fire’ staged at The Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of The Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, ‘A Musical Journey Around Britain’ for Honda America at The Banqueting House plus numerous shows for festivals and theatres throughout the U.K. and Europe. |
