At first he hates it, but then it takes him into a strange land.

| Everything was fine in the land, until one very strange day. One morning when everyone woke up and found that half the people had a blue nose and the other half had a red nose. Now you wouldn't think that would make a great deal of difference, would you? But it did, oh it did. Now in the forest there lives this monster, it's huge it's horrible, with great big eyes and great big ears, and it flies through the air with its massive wings dragging his gigantic belly. Actually it's a small purple dragon with a terrible cold, but that's what rumours do for you...... |

This show is set in an attic uses a storyteller and puppets with some lovely transformations and a very special message.

| London born, Ken Haines founded his company, ‘On The Other Hand’, over 15 years ago but he has been involved in puppetry for more than thirty years. |
|
| He has worked in film and is a regular on TV and theatre. For the National Theatre, his work was seen in "Mountain Giants", and "Dragon". |
|
|
|
| His work had been recognised around the world and he has represented the UK at several prestigious festivals in Europe. |
|
| Ken has been running Puppet Workshops for many years. His experience has included both adult, children, people with special needs and educationalists. |

| The Birthday Workshops focus on creating lively and imaginative puppets. The session includes - A talk and demonstration on the making of a glove puppet. Ken will provide - Fabrics, scissors, felt pens, card and a lot of ideas, which you can go on to use in future sessions. Requirements - A room without a carpet if possible. Tables, chairs, a broom, bin liners for rubbish and a power point. |
