Richard has been playing the Great Highland Bagpipes since the age of 10. He is a renowned world-class musician who endeavours to promote a positive roll for bagpiping. His piping career has taken him around the world and has led to a number of unusual performances including the opera ‘Mary Seacole’ by Richard Chew and Su Andi at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. He has also made numerous television appearances including; Blue Peter, The National Lottery Show and Jools Holland’s Hootenannie. Richard is happy to travel throughout the U.K. and abroad to play for both corporate and private events. Whether welcoming guests at a gala dinner, playing at a Burns Supper, a wedding, a birthday or for Remembrance, Richard’s piping will make the event even more memorable.
